Beginning Monday May 16, 2022, weather permitting, the City of Cleveland will begin construction of Phase 1 of the East 185th Street Rehabilitation & Streetscape Project in the Cities of Cleveland and Euclid.
Work includes the rehabilitation of approximately 1.63 miles of East 185th Street, from Nottingham Road to Lake Erie. One-way traffic will be maintained during construction in the northbound direction between Pawnee Avenue and Lake Erie.
On street parking will be permitted on the side of the roadway being maintained during construction. Southbound traffic will be detoured from E. 185th Street to eastbound Lakeshore Boulevard to southbound E. 200th Street to westbound St. Clair Avenue. Two-way traffic will be maintained between Nottingham Road and Pawnee Avenue.
The work will generally take place during the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional information is located on the project website at www.east185streetscape.com.
