Metro Urban News 1 Radio , Cleveland’s newest face on the music and entertainment front, is making a huge slash and everyone appears to like it. According to the word on the streets, MUN1, is the choice station for those listeners who are on the smoother side of life. These smooth listeners are a population that would rather hear the cool sounds of Motown over the thuggish ruggish tones of Mo Thugs. Who, by the way is a Cleveland act. So, big ups and much respect y’all.
Still, so many stations are littered with songs that contain more four-letter words than a dictionary. So, they have reached out to one of the long-time radio voices who has been on station s all across the nation. Vivian Louuise Sharp has joined the team of broadcasters at the station and her voice is surely recognized and welcomed.
She began her radio career in Denver, Colorado in the late 60’s and hasn’t stopped broadcasting even to this day. She has also been a journalist for several newspapers in Denver and in Ohio, where she currently resides.
Her show, “Discover Yourself”, features a myriad of special guests with a heavy flavor for making money, marketing advise for business owners and other financial information. Listeners have taken to this show like moths to a brand-new suit. They are eating it up.
“Vivian has a way with words and she has a huge following of faithful followers who have followed her for decades. She is a walking black book full of names, numbers and connections. Her voice on this station has broadened our listenership and for that we are ecstatic”, said station mate Vicky Trotter. Trotter also has a phenomenal show on the station called,” Life By Design”. She is also a new member to the station. Trotter was just recently a prized voice at another radio station WOVU 95.9 FM.
With superior talents like Sharp and Trotter on their network, METRO URBAN NEWS 1 will be around for many years to come.
