It’s always been said that, “If you look good, you feel good”. With that, Cleveland fashion designer and icon, Dee Dee Tufts, has kept the city on their toes and looking good for over 50 years. And yet, she is still dreaming up new stylish ideas almost daily.
Just recently she was presented a proclamation for her many years of hard work and dedication to all things fashionable. Her keen eye and attention to detail has helped her to create some of the hippest and most modern styles that women around the town are clamoring to get their hands on.
Tufts has a flair for the unthinkable. She uses color as though she is Rembrandt and brings the life out of a lifeless piece of cloth with ease. And, her work is darn near magical. Her use of color and eye-catching details are no match for the store bought outfits that hang on the racks at todays top clothing outlets.
During her recent 50th anniversary show at the Mediterranean Party Center, she showcased a collection of the finest designs brought forth by some of the baddest, most professional models in NEO. And they worked it.
The awesomeness of her visions, coupled with models who know how to command a catwalk, turns her fashion shows into elegant fashion extravaganzas. Every time she creates a mirage of her latest designs, the entire Cleveland fashion scene is there to support her.
Dee Dee is quick to assist anyone who is looking to get into the bustling world of fashion and design. She has a bunch of upcoming shows in and around the area and will be in New York soon to take in the latest creative works during Fashion Week. You can bet your last dollar that she’s gonna come back to the city with some new, fresh ideas and we’ll quickly see them on women on the runway, in the office and while they are twirling and swirling the night away at one of the city’s swanky nite spots.
